What a credit is

Credits are our unit of metering for the AI computation Director's Studio performs on your behalf — reading a screenplay, extracting scenes and characters, writing a prompt. Different operations consume different amounts, so we meter in credits rather than charging per action.

Credits are issued, held and honored solely by Arctoria LLC, and can only be consumed inside Director's Studio.
Credits have no cash or monetary value. They are never redeemable for cash, for goods, or for anything outside our own software.
Credits are not transferable between customers, and cannot be resold, exchanged, or gifted from one user to another. The software provides no mechanism to do so.
Credits expire. Monthly plan credits reset at each renewal and do not roll over. Credits from a purchased pack expire three months after the date of purchase.
Credits are non-refundable, and are not a deposit, a balance, or an account of your money.

They are a usage allowance for our own service, in the way a software plan includes a number of API calls. They are not gift cards, prepaid cards, stored value, in-game currency, or any kind of digital token or cryptocurrency.

Billing, cancellation and refunds

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, our payment processor, and renew automatically until cancelled. Credit packs are a single one-time charge and do not renew.

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in your account settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, and is not prorated or refunded for the remainder of that period.

Except where required by law, or where we have expressly stated otherwise at the point of sale, payments are non-refundable. If something has gone wrong with your account or a charge, write to us before disputing it — we would rather fix it directly. Full terms are in our Terms of Service.

What you are buying

Director's Studio is planning software. It turns a screenplay into a structured production plan — characters, scenes, locations, dialogue, shots, continuity and a visual style that cascades through the production — and writes model-specific text prompts you take to the AI image and video tools of your choice. It does not render footage itself and does not resell any third-party generation service.

Delivery is digital and immediate: access begins the moment checkout completes, and purchased credits are added to your account within seconds of payment.
