Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Director's Studio (the "Service"), operated by Arctoria LLC ("Arctoria", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who we are and what the Service does

Arctoria LLC builds Director's Studio, a creative-planning tool for filmmakers and storytellers. It turns a screenplay into a structured project and generates model-tailored prompts so you can keep every shot on-story and on-style. Director's Studio does not itself render images or video; you generate with third-party AI models of your choice.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Subscriptions, billing, and credits

Paid plans and usage credits are billed through our payment processor, Stripe. By purchasing a plan or credits you authorize the applicable charges. Current pricing, plan tiers, and credit amounts are set within the product and may change over time; this document does not fix any price. Except where required by law or expressly stated at the point of sale, payments are non-refundable.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's intellectual-property or privacy rights;
  • create content that is unlawful, or that depicts the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors;
  • attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
  • resell or misrepresent the Service, or violate the terms of the third-party model providers you connect to.

5. Your content

You own the scripts, characters, world material, and generated prompts you create in the Service ("Your Content"). You grant Arctoria the limited license needed to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you. We do not use Your Content to train any AI model, ours or anyone else's.

6. Our intellectual property

The Service itself, including its software, design, and the Arctoria and Director's Studio names and marks, is owned by Arctoria LLC and protected by intellectual-property law. These Terms grant you no rights in our marks or software beyond the right to use the Service as permitted here.

7. Third-party model providers and generated output

When you generate images or video, you do so through third-party AI model providers. Your use of those providers is governed by their terms, and what you may do with the output they produce is subject to those terms and to applicable law. Arctoria does not control and is not responsible for third-party providers or their output.

8. No warranty on AI output

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. AI-generated prompts and any downstream output may be inaccurate, inconsistent, or unsuitable for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to use any output.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arctoria LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
